Destiny Williams
Finance & Crypto Expert at CasinoRIX 1 year with us
Destiny Williams began her career in criminal justice after earning a degree from John Jay College in New York. She spent the next seven years in a role built on procedure, documentation, and risk assessment, where the job was to notice anything that didn’t fit the expected pattern.
While she was still in this role, Destiny began studying financial markets, banking, and investment fundamentals, and she later passed the Securities Industry Essentials exam. Transaction monitoring and fraud prevention became her work in 2021. She reviewed payment activity and KYC documentation, and suspicious account behavior and fraud-related cases were part of the work too.
Payments and financial risk became her next area. Card transactions and bank transfers came with it, as did digital wallets, chargebacks, merchant payments, and the systems behind deposits and withdrawals. A master’s degree in Finance from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business and the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist credential rounded that out.
Digital assets then sat closer to mainstream finance, and she turned to cryptocurrency and blockchain analysis. Destiny analyzed Bitcoin and Ethereum transactions, plus wallets and exchanges. Stablecoins, crypto payment flows, and DeFi were in scope, and so were KYC and AML controls and the financial risk that sits on blockchains. She completed professional digital-asset and blockchain analysis training through Chainalysis.
Destiny joined CasinoRIX in 2026 as a Finance & Crypto Expert. She works on the financial side of online gambling, following a deposit from the player’s card, e-wallet, payment provider, or cryptocurrency wallet into the casino account, and following a withdrawal along the same routes back out. Transaction fees and processing times are part of the work on each route. Verification requirements and financial security fall under the same remit. A casino may describe a payment as “instant” or “fee-free,” and she checks that claim against the actual transaction. The conditions attached to it matter, and so do the delays, limits, and additional verification a player can run into.
Gambling is not an investment. Casino games are entertainment with a built-in house edge — over time, the odds always favour the operator. Never play to make money, recover losses or pay bills, and only wager what you can afford to lose.
